Prologue

“An artist is somebody who produces things that people don’t need to have”
Andy Warhol

Presenting the iconic Indonesian legend (name to be announced prior to event) in an intimate evening performance followed by an interactive installation Nous ne notons pas les fleurs by renowned artist and filmmaker Tintinwulia in a spectacular fashion.

Nous ne notons pas les fleurs, is taken from a dialogue in Le Petit Prince (de Saint-Exupéry, 1943), where a geographer tells the Little Prince that geographers do not record flowers because, unlike the earth, flowers are ephemeral. This installation would invite the audience to reflect not only the notion of being Indonesians, but also trace a small part of their family history. Tintin Wulia’s artistic practice is informed by critical geopolitics. Her work takes form in video, mural and 3-dimensional objects, and communicated through installations and interactive performances. Please go to www.tintinwulia.com for more information about the artists.

Every studio would be different than each other and the audience is free to choose their ‘studio’ that best represents their story of life. Audience will get their chance to stage and to perform themselves in alternative ways, something that maybe distance from their daily life and for those 15 minutes of fame, everyone can call themselves as photographers.
