30 Seconds to Mars

30 Seconds to Mars is an American rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1998. Since 2007, the band has been composed of actor Jared Leto (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, songwriter), Shannon Leto (drums, percussion) and Tomo Mili?evi? (lead guitar, keyboards). Following the departure of Matt Wachter in 2007, Tim Kelleher became the bassist for the group, performing live only with both Jared and Mili?evi? recording bass for studio recordings, while Braxton Olita (keyboards) was added to the touring lineup in 2009. Previously, the group also featured guitarists Solon Bixler and Kevin Drake.

Inspired by many different bands such as Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Alice In Chains and Nine Inch Nails and more, 30STM blends multiple genres into their albums which includes progressive rock, space rock, post-grunge, electronic music and hard rock.

Loudness (Raudonesu) is a Japan-based heavy metal band formed in 1981 by guitarist Akira Takasaki and drummer Munetaka Higuchi. They were the first Japanese heavy metal act signed to a major label in the United States, releasing twenty-three studio albums (five in America) by the end of 2009 and reaching the Billboard Top 100 in their moment of maximum international popularity. Despite numerous changes in their roster, the band continued their activities during the 90s, finally reuniting the original line-up in 2000. On 30 November 2008 original drummer Munetaka Higuchi died from liver cancer at a hospital in Osaka at age 49. Loudness replaced him with Masayuki Suzuki and are still active to this day.


Blood Red Shoes

Blood Red Shoes are an alternative rock duo from Brighton, England. They have released two full-length albums, Box of Secrets and Fire Like This, plus a slew of early singles on limited 7″ vinyl pressings.

Consisting of Steven Ansell and Laura-Mary Carter, Blood Red Shoes formed in late 2004 after their previous bands (Cat On Form and Lady Muck respectively) had broken up and they decided to “have a jam”. In an interview in Berlin, Laura-Mary explained that the band’s name was taken from a Ginger Rogers/Fred Astaire musical, in which Ginger Rogers had turned a pair of white dancing shoes red with blood due to the amount of dancing she had done practising for the role.


We Are Scientists

We Are Scientists is a New York-based indie rock band that formed in Berkeley, California in 2000. Originally formed of Keith Murray on drums, Chris Cain playing bass guitar and Scott Lamb providing vocals and guitar, before Michael Tapper became drummer and Keith became vocalist and guitarist. The band’s breakthrough success came with their second album With Love and Squalor which sold 100,000 copies in the first 6 months. Their second success was with Brain Thrust Mastery which charted at 11 in the UK album chart, with two top 40 singles “After Hours” and “Chick Lit.” Their fourth album, Barbara, was released in the UK on the 14th June 2010. Also, they are starring in their own television short Steve Wants His Money.
