Brightspot Market is back with over 60 vendors from all across Indonesia. Several brands will be making a first-time appearance at Brightspot, along side our old favorites. Keep an eye out for limited edition products made exclusively for Brightspot Market. They have nearly 1100 square meters of RAW space that has never before been seen by the public. This location is very special, and they will be making announcements about it and future Brightspot projects throughout the event.

Brightspot Market will kick off with an opening party (invitation only) on Thursday, July 8^th, 2010 from 5:30-11 PM. Doors will be open to the public from July 9^th-11^th from 11AM-11PM. Merk Jeans lokal? Kalo pertanyaan itu ditanyakan 5 tahun yang lalu, pasti bingung mau jawab apa. Tapi sekarang dengan begitu menjamurnya merk jeans lokal, kita malah dibuat bingung mau beli yang mana.

Nah karena alesan itulah Rubrikgroup ngadain acara yang diberi nama “Denim Market” di Ke’Kun Kemang, tanggal 3-4 Juli kemarin. Acara yang memang diorganize sama Rubrikgroup untuk mengumpulkan merk-merk jeans lokal dalam satu kesempatan ini diikuti oleh 4 merk jeans yaitu Ruffneck, Vision Mission (VM), Tymps, dan Sober Denim.

Menurut Eggy, Project Officer (PO) Denim Market, sebenarnya mereka mengundang 10 merk jeans lokal, tetapi yang siap dan akhirnya memutuskan untuk ambil bagian dalam denim market ini hanya 4 merk jeans tadi.

Biarpun cuma ada 4 merk yang berpartisipasi, event ini cukup ramai disinggahi pecinta denim di Jakarta. Di event ini, Ruffneck memberikan diskon 15% untuk semua produknya, sedangkan Tymps mengeluarkan koleksi terbarunya yang menggunakan bahan Nehun Menpu dari Jepang. VM memberikan preview untuk koleksi terbaru mereka yang terdiri dari 3 jenis jeans yaitu jeans acid wash, vintage wash dan dry jeans berwarna abu-abu dan Sober  menampilkan koleksi pertama mereka yang diberi nama Le-Jaune.

“Acara ini masih merupakan batu loncatan untuk Rubrikgroup, ke depannya kita pengen banget bikin denim market yang lebih gede lagi kalo bisa diikuti sama semua merk jeans lokal”, kata Eggy. Ya nggak? Akhir kata, kalo kata CEO sebuah produk elektronik di iklan televisinya, Cintailah produk produk Indonesia!
